A Perfect Soundtrack

My life may not be fit for the big screen but it has its own soundtrack. There is always a song planted in my heart. In this season, it has been this…

As we dealt with Dad’s fall, it seemed like this song would be on the radio exactly when I needed it. Then we received the news about Kevin, and the song rooted itself in my heart. What I didn’t realize is that the songwriter wrote this after his own journey with kidney cancer.

God knew knew not only would this song be what I needed, but that the story behind it would parallel what we were facing. It is comforting to know that we are not alone.

The outpouring of love, comfort, and support has been humbling. But, more than anything else, we have felt the power of prayer. It has given this incredible sense of God’s peace and grace in the midst of the storm.
